Sevenoaks Business Show 2026

Local Sevenoaks Officers PC Hubbard and PC Costin attended the Sevenoaks Business Show yesterday (05/06/2026).

Police hosted a stand throughout the event and officers took the opportunity to speak directly with residents, business owners and stakeholders, building relationships and discussing local concerns.

An aspect of the day involved the distribution of numerous free crime prevention items aimed at keeping people safe in the town. Particularly popular were items linked to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), including personal safety alarms and anti–drink spiking products to support safer socialising.

The event was well attended, with a broad range of local businesses present alongside councillors, mayors, and Members of Parliament, highlighting the strength of partnership working across the district.

PC Nick Hubbard said:
“This was a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with local businesses and the wider community in Sevenoaks town centre. Building trust and confidence is at the heart of what we do and events like this allow us to have open conversations, listen to concerns and show that we are here to support retailers and businesses.

We want those working in the town centre to feel confident approaching us and know that we are focused on their needs. My policing role is very much centred around supporting local businesses and we are here whenever they need us,  whether that is advice, reassurance, or dealing with issues affecting the area.”
